Philippines - Last January 12,2017 Thursday Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte welcome Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at Malacanang from Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe flight from Japan to the Philippines.
The Japan Prime Minister was welcome with a gun salute and he is on the Philippines for two day official visit.
He is here on the Philippines to be the Philippines ".....strategic partner in nation-building through the expansion of trade and investment links between the two countries and by providing sustainable development efforts in infrastructure,public safety and counter-terrorism,and anti-illegal drug measure." (Manila Bulletin)
" In particular,we will expand assistance in the areas prioritized by the Duterte administration such as infrastructure development,public safety and counter-terrorism and anti-illegal drugs measure.... I hope to expand ties between Japan and the Philippines through a fruitful talk with President Duterte in this visit....", Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said.
