PTV - 4 To Be Open For Public Expression

Philippines - The country(Philippines) owned television network - PTV -4 will be open for public expression particularly for those protesters and rebels to express their grievances or complaint or resentment on the country.

This is what Phlippine Prsident Rodrigo Duterte have said last March 11,2017 Saturday in a speech at the inauguration of the PTV-4 Cordillera Hub in Baguio city.He will ask the management of the TV network to give airtime for those who want to say something; "...from ordinary protesters to the New People's Army (NPA),the armed wing of the Communist Party of the Philippines." According to Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte,there is no need to demonstrate or protest on the streets or to fight for those rebels; all they need to do is to come to the TV network and they will be given an airtime to express their grievances or whatever they wanted to say if their grievances is valid to express.

"there is no need for you to demonstrate and snarl traffic along the way because I urge you to come here,explain to the management,and (if) you have a valid grievances or reason,we will give (you) the time....Mga [ to the members of the ] NPA, we'll give you the space,sa mga Cordillera guys,welcome kayo [ to the rebels in Cordillera you are welcome]...No need to fight.Use it. It;s the people's money and the people would gladly hear you...If you think that you have to communicate to the whole of the Philippines what you are aspiring for,we understand that... You have been deprived of your lands,we understand that.There has been historical injustice,we understand that." - Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte said.

The TV network could also be use by government officials that has been accused of accusations".... to respond to accusations hurled against them." (CNN Philippines)

" If you are about to be criticized or (are) being criticized or have been criticized and you want to answer,I said a fair chance,the right to be heard.Remember that." - the Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte said.

Furthermore,the Philippine President said he will not use the TV network for his own personal use : " There will never be a time that I will use PTV-4 or its allied services for my personal (affairs)..Di ko na kailangan (I don't need it) just tell the people about me."
