Right after you die not all your bodily system shutdown forever, researchers from University of Illinois Chicago discover that some brain cells after death remain active and grow gigantically and grow appendages. These cells are called “glial cells” or so-called “zombie genes”
.
Researchers
found that gene expressions in some cells increase after one’s died some genes
come to life or still alive even after one already die; thus called “zombie
genes”.
“Specifically, the team found that
glial cells — which aren’t directly linked to neural activity but provide a
support system for the brain — activated, swelled up, and even grew new
appendages right as the other cells around them died off.” (Futurism)
