"Pain Music " is what this personality as what this personality wanted to sell as what this personality says.
A Filipino-American rapper that makes his way his own way to music industry - MBNel or Jhonel or Nel Dongon in real life. A male Filipino-American rapper from Stockton California wherein "MB" stands for somewhat as I learned a derivation and combination of a city. This, as it is feed, "MB" stands as is for somewhat "Muddy Boyz", "Mudd Bruddas" and "Mattie Boys","Nel" was actually his name.
He got his big break, according to what i learned, since 2019 on his single "Feelings" that becomes a hit on Spotify and YouTube. He started his music on 2017 and his debut album; "Forever" on 2018; and his first music video, "Love My Gang" on 2018 album. His single "Feelings" garnered more than 35 million streams.
His hit single has helped him opened a lot of doors and as well created a big fan base for himself wherein according to him, his hit single blew up unexpectedly on streaming platform.
To keep up and sustain the momentum of his success, his single is followed up by a new album, entitled "8 to Infinity" with Empire Records which according to him display his being a flexible music artist that according to him he can't be box in. In this new album he experimented new sounds and different things and the number "8" which is synonymous to the word "Infinity" signifies that he is taking himself and his music to the moon and stars or to higher things.
"Pain Music" is what he call his music because of what he has gone through and tapping into his inner vulnerable side and expressing it through music; and according to him it is not actually hard to tap on that his side for that is what he has been doing since of his music or music career.
" .... I felt it was something i have been doing from the beginning of my music career. It's like my staple sound,"pain music" is what i like to call it. Being vulnerable with my music, I believe, is what created the bond with my supporters. Anybody can make hard music and talk about violent stuff or drugs or whatever. But not everybody can talk about something personal, your endeavors and the people attached to them."
