Aside from the training he also joined last March this year (2019) the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary and also he gained or earn a title of second lieutenant when he joined the field demonstration at the Philippine Military Academy.
According to him,he love his country (Philippines) and he always been interested in it since then why he joined the Armed Forces.

For now during his training,his girlfriend singer-actress Sarah Geronimo will have temporary no communication; no cell phone and no contact outside. But after the training Matteo said he will focus on his music career and will record an album and will have an upcoming movie.
