Voltes V Legacy: The Philippine Remake

 

The Japanese anime television series or 2d animation show “Chodenji Machine Voltes V” or simply “Voltes V” which was aired from April 6,1977 to March 25,1978 on TV Asahi and first aired in the Philippine television in May 5,1978 on GMA channel 7 on English-language dub version will come back in the Philippine television via GMA channel 7 also this year 2022 this time the anime series is real persons with Filipino actors acting the series. But before the real person version, Voltes V was also aired on four Philippine TV stations after it was removed from GMA channel 7 then by the late Philippine president Ferdinand Marcos; namely, PTV channel 4 on 1986, ABS-CBN channel 2 on 1986 also, IBC channel 13 on 1989, and RPN channel 9 on 1989 also and then it returns to GMA channel 7 on 1999 with English-language dub also on January that then and then with Filipino or Tagalog-language dub on December. Then the last five episodes which was left undubbed then due to banning of late Philippine president Ferdinand Marcos to it, was finally dubbed and release.

 

Telesuccess Productions owns the Philippine rights of it and own and produced by Toei Company and Nippon Sunrise. Saburo Yatsude created it and Tadao Nagahama directed it.

 

 

The names of the characters were change into an American name from original Japanese names which was also use on the Philippine version of it. The following are them.
