BTS Go To White House

 

BTS or also known as Bangtan Boys is a famous South Korean pop boy band or K-pop group visited the United States not for a concert or paid performance but for an issue of a hate crime to Asian American people.

Before meeting with President Joe Biden in the White House, the K-pop group held a brief statement to the reporters calling to halt the hate crimes against Asian Americans.

BTS also admit they too are victims of hate crimes against Asians :  “We have endured expletives without reason and were mocked for the way we look. We were even asked why Asians spoke in English,… “We cannot put into words the pain of becoming the subject of hatred and violence for such a reason. Our own experiences are inconsequential compared to the events that have occurred over the past few weeks. But these experiences are enough to make us feel powerless and chip away our self-esteem.”

BTS is a septet boy band group or seven member group which include the following members :

2.  Kim Seokjin or Jin

3.  Min Yoongi or Suga

4.  Jung  Hoseok or  J-Hope

5.  Park Jimin or Jimin

6.  Kim Taehyung or V

7.  Jeon Jungkook or Jungkook
