China To Put "AI" On Cells

China - China is planning to put Artificial Intelligence (AI) on its prison cells as help to human guards and as well to prevent human guards connivance on prisoners in order to escape.



The Artificial Intelligence (AI) will monitor the prisoners 24 hours and seven days or 24/7 as well as the way prisoners behave while they are i prison cells.

" A prison that houses some of China's most high-profile criminals is reportedly installing an artificial intelligence network that will be able to recognize and track every inmate around the clock and alert guards if anything seems out of place.The "smart jail" system inside  Yancheng prison integrates surveillance camera and hidden sensors that collect data points into a central "brain", an AI-powered computer that will generate a daily report on inmates using facial recognition and movement analysis........The technology deployed allows each camera to track up to 200 faces at a time.....(Telegraph)

" A high security prison in north China is using a cutting-edge artificial intelligence network to monitor its inmates 24/7.The Yancheng prison in Yanjiao,Hebei province,where high-profile inmates are incarcerated,has employed a network of AI cameras to monitor inmates' every movement and flag behavior that is deemed abnormal to human guards,according to South China Morning Post.The high-tech surveillance system allows camera to track up to 200 faces at the same time at the 40-hectare facility, sources involved in the project confirmed to the Hong Kong newspaper."
