Last year
2019, two Filipino chefs display their culinary expertise at the annual
gastronomy in Spain. This is a chance to display Filipino cuisines in the world
through the annual gastronomy in Spain. Two Filipino chefs were at the food
congress or at San Sebastian Gastronomika to display cuisines of Filipino, they
are: Chef JP Anglo and Chef Sau del Rosario.
Chef JP
Anglo shows foods from Visayas Philippines where his roots are. He presented a Negrense
cuisine. He cook chicken inasal and binakol and presented Filipino boodle
fight.
While Chef
Sau del Rosario shows foods from Luzon Philippines, particularly Angeles city
Pampanga where his roots are. He presented a Kapampangan cosine. He cooks sisig
and chanporado and presented the use of cacao or Philippine cacao.
Aside from
the two Filipino chefs, another chef introduces Filipino flavor at the
gastronomy as the news said. She is chef Christina Sunae though she is not
biologically Filipina but she grew up with a Filipina woman whom she see her as
mother aside from her biological mother.
