Heavy Snow On Pakistan Traps And Kills

 

Watching snow on a tourist spot on Pakistan which is Murree is the main reason people or tourist flock on it but a tragedy happens. Thousands were trapped on their vehicles because of a heavy snow storm on the road bumper to bumper and Pakistan authorities caught unprepared. Pakistan authorities records 23 deaths among the tourists trapped and found dead on their cars or vehicles. It was on Thursday, January 07,2022 when heavy snow fall pour making vehicles on the road trap in a thick snow.

 

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan says: ““Unprecedented snowfall & rush of ppl proceeding without checking weather conditions caught district admin unprepared. Have ordered inquiry & putting in place strong regulation to ensure prevention of such tragedies,”

 

“Officials blamed the disaster on large numbers of tourists who failed to consider weather forecasts. But critics of the government said the local authorities were ill-equipped to handle the annual influx and underprepared to deal with emergency situations.” (New York Times)
