Pakistan - Recently, the country Pakistan have their former
leader or what they called Prime Minister (PM) ousted from his seat and now
they are voting for new leader or new Prime Minister or have already voted or
chosen. But the former Prime Minister – Imran Khan protests and complained of
his removal and accused political rivals or opposition of a colluded actions
with the United States (US) that is why he was ousted or removed.
The ousting was due to the political opponents
discontent of Imran Khan’s leadership and management as being a Prime Minister,
in particular on handling Pakistan’s economy and military. They bring their “no
confidence vote” or motion to Pakistan’s Supreme Court though Imran Khan block
it. The former Pakistan leader did not win for the Supreme Court sided with the
opposition declaring his government illegal or unconstitutional.
Though the former Prime Minister and his party try to
block and prevent the vote, eventually, lawmakers voted him out just after midnight
Sunday April 10,2022, with 172 vote majority.
Shehbaz Sharif – the leader of the political opponent
of Imran Khan, is now the chosen new leader or new Prime Minister of the
country Pakistan.
“Pakistan's parliament has selected Shehbaz Sharif
as the country's new prime minister, after Imran Khan was ousted in a
no-confidence vote in the early hours of Sunday…… Shehbaz Sharif will now form a new
government that can remain in place until elections are due in August 2023.”(BBC)
