Is this the beginning of the end of Facebook as recent
report of Meta that it is losing daily users against the now new leading social
website in the web which is TikTok?
It is reported that last year 2021 on the last quarter
of it, Facebook experience the first time ever in its history a decline on
daily users or daily active users but however recent news said it regain its
user on the first months of year 2022.Facebook have lost according to the news
between 500,000 to one million users. That is according to the news from 1.930
billion to 1.929 billion users. The decline have lose Facebook a billions of
money as the news said.
To compete with TikTok, Facebook have created a
copycat short video name “Reels” on its platform and Facebook said it is fast
growing or working. Could this be the solution for Facebook TikTok problem? But
TikTok is not the only reason for Facebook decline users, it also includes
according to the news, a lack of interest for younger population, no market to
expand for it, and its controversial policies or privacy and tracking policies.
The biggest drop on users is said to be on Africa and
Latin America according to the news.
Facebook or Meta is currently working what it is
called “Metaverse” to remain its users and for the future of the company.
