Scientists from United Kingdom (UK) have appeal for
local community for help in searching fragments of a meteorite that has fallen
on Shropshire in the south or somewhere of the south of Shrewsbury.
The meteorite has a huge fireball streaked above the
skies of Shropshire last week or on April 14,2022 Thursday, according to the
news and believe to have fallen on it. Scientists have tried to search for the
meteorite on the area but not yet successful on finding it and now they appeal
for the local community to help them on finding the meteorite on the area.
According to professor Katie Joy of the Department of
Earth and Environmental Sciences, the meteorite could be a glossy black or
brown in color and bigger fragments can be a size of an easter egg and small
fragments can be a size of a mini egg. The meteorite could no longer be hot but
it should no be pick up with bare hands as it will contaminate it.
