U.S. President Joe Biden Got COVID-19

 

United States or American president Joe Biden told the Americans recently that he got COVID-19 or tested positive of COVID-19 virus on Thursday July 21,2022 though he is fully vaccinated or double vaccinated and double boosted. However, he said he is doing well and the symptoms are going to be mild. He is taking an antiviral drug called Paxlovid. He will be in isolation for the following days.

But I'm doing well, getting a lot of work done. Going to continue to get it done and in the meantime, thanks for your concern and keep the faith. It's gonna be OK," Biden, who was unmasked while standing outside on the Truman Balcony, said in the 20-second video the White House says was filmed by a masked and socially distanced videographer.” (CNN)

“Biden’s COVID-19 diagnosis was confirmed by both antigen and PCR tests, the president’s physician, Dr Kevin O’Connor, said on Thursday in a letter to Jean-Pierre that the White House made public.

The president’s symptoms, which began on Wednesday evening, include a “runny nose” and “fatigue, with an occasional dry cough”, O’Connor wrote, adding that he anticipated Biden “will respond favorably” to treatment……. Due to his age -79-year-old he is at risk of catching a severe case condition of COVID-19 but the White House said he has the full set of protections to make his condition at the low and mild.
