Everyone
loves to drink coffee especially in the morning to wake up one but recent research
says drinking coffee before eating any breakfast after a disrupted sleep last
night could have a bad effect on one’s health.
According
to new research from Center of Nutrition, Exercise & Metabolism, drinking
coffee before eating anything before breakfast after a not so good sleep at
night could raise blood glucose levels in the body.
“According to the scientists behind the research,
which was published in the British Journal of Nutrition, drinking coffee as a
way to wake up first thing in the morning can have a negative effect on blood
glucose control.” (New York Post)
What
is Blood Glucose Level?
Blood
glucose level or blood sugar level is the level or concentration or percentage
of sugar on one’s blood. The levels should be right or normal lest if not one
will be at risk or susceptible to diabetes and heart disease, according to the
health information on the web. The sugar or glucose comes from what we eat.
But
drinking coffee after a breakfast according to the news or study is good than
drinking first coffee before eating anything at breakfast.

simply, our blood sugar control is impaired when the first thing our bodies
come into contact with is coffee especially after a night of disrupted sleep.
We might improve this by eating first and then drinking coffee later if we feel
we still feel need it. Knowing this can have important health benefits for us
all,” Professor James Betts, Co-Director of the Centre for Nutrition, Exercise

main point : According to new research drinking coffee before eating anything
in the morning or breakfast have negative or bad effects on one’s health after
not so good sleep at night which is it could affects one’s sugar levels in the
blood or could affect one’s blood glucose level.
