India
being one of the most with United States as leading among countries hardly hit by coronavirus or
COVID-19 had set a new world record.
India
recorded 349,691 new cases in a single day and infected people were dying
because of lack of oxygen supply and beds. Death cases rose to 2,767 in a day
which according to reports is the highest so far.
“India
has registered a new world record for daily coronavirus infections for the
fourth day in a row, placing more strain on its crisis-hit hospitals. It recorded a further 349,691 cases on Sunday, bringing the total to
almost 17 million since the pandemic began…. The number of deaths across India
rose by 2,767 in the 24 hours to Sunday - the highest daily number so far.”(BBC)
The United States
shows concern and will help India on its
problem and will send supplies like oxygen while the World Health Organization
(WHO) says what happen to India is a devastating reminder of what the COVID-19
or the coronavirus can do.
