Interred Or Not?

Ireland - Lately, ""significant quantities of human remain " have been found at a former mother and baby home in Ireland" (Sky News) or remains of dead children or babies that were not interred or have respectful, dignified, and recognized death and burial which spark outrage in Ireland and the world upon the discovery.

"It is thought that the children died of natural causes or malnutrition but the secretive, undignified manner of their burials caused widespread outrage in Ireland and beyond." (BBC)

There have been an investigation and the babies were ready to be exhume and reburied in a dignified way.

The grave found is in Tuam - a town in Ireland - where the religious-run institution or the Mother and Baby Home is situated. It is a home for unmarried mothers and their children which believe that the nuns that run it buried babies or children on it without proper, respectful and dignified funeral and burial but in a secretive and undignified way.

"The home was run by the Bon Secours order of nuns." (BBC)

"Nearly 800 children died at a former mother and baby home in Tuam,County Galway between 1925 and 1961.Significant quantities of human remains were subsequently found in there, some in a septic tank." (BBC)

"Excavation of children's [ Tuam babies] mass grave to begin in 2019." (BBC)

"Forensic tests will be carried out to identify each child before "respectful" reburials." (BBC)

"The Catholic Archbishop of Tuam,Michael Neary, said that he is horrified by the confirmation that significant quantities of human remains were buried on the site of a former mother and baby home in the Tuam. Describing the news as " a body blow",he said he had been greatly shocked to learn of the scale of the practice during the time in which the Bon Secours ran the mother and baby home in Tuam." (Wkipedia)

"Some Tuam residents have now called for an investigation into the town's Grove Hospital which had also been run by the Bon Secours order.A number of people have claimed their children or siblings were buried on the site from 1950's right up until the late 1970's,although the order denies that there was a graveyard on the site. Galway County Council has stipulated that an archaeologist must monitor excavation work on the site in order to preserve any remains which may be buried there." (Wikipedia)
